farmers circle
i know all you people say " we wont tell you our farming places because then tons of people will go there and then they will nerf it " or whatever you say but seriously people how many people out of all the people in the world use this site inperticular? forms are used to help people and buy/sell stuff and chat amongst others so why not help people out? since that is what forms are for...... now to get to the actual post
people post like your 2nd favorite (2nd so u wont go into the nerfing lecture) or favorite farming area you dont even have to give perticulars u can just say a town like sacum cay or gates of kryta or hot springs witch are the places i have farmed if you dont want to actually post a farming place dont post at all so its just a big dam chat room that people read and find no information thank you and i hope people actually use the forms to help people like they are saposed too |

Figures this is your first post. NO ONE will give you ANY spots. There are 2-3 threads that say things like this EVERYDAY. Theres 2-3 SUCESSFUL ones, that normally stay within the first few pages, because they are active. Now go find those, and dont post until youve searched.

My Build: Marksmanship 13 Healing 9 Expertise 13 Beast Mastery 10 My Skills: Mend Melandrus Resiliance Ignite Arrows Poison Arrow Tigers Fury I use that build to farm the mergoyles outside Gates of Kryta. not the best place for wielding high profit drops but if you do it correctly you can clear the entire beach in under 5 minutes and get about a plat for it. Which i've found isn't bad for a ranger. My Build: Wilderness Survival 14 Healing 8 Expertise 10 My Skills: Barbed Trap Flame Trap Dust Trap Serpents Quickness Mend Healing Breeze Barrage Throw Dirt I forget the name of the area...but just outside the Gate of Kryta there is a portal to an area to farm snow ettins. drop a barbed trap, then dust trap, then serpents quickness, then flame trap, then barbed trap, then flame trap, then pull the ettins onto the traps. use throw dirt to blind them for the second round of traps. I use a +3 EN Wand and a +21EN protective icon -1 EN Degen. when farming the ettins. |

If you do a Google search for Guild Wars related material, this site is often in the top 5 results. As most people do not go passed the 1st page of results, this site is probably very popular for information.
Eh, I do low level Charr farming north of the wall near Ascalon, for hides and wood planks. Vague enough? And since ANET devs post in the forum, it's only logical to think that they read other posts, and what's more blatant than a thread with the word "farming" and "locations" in it? |

Thor you can farm anywhere you want. What you need to do is realize areas of your own that you can handle soloing. Such as for my monk the area around the Temple of Ages is a very good area for me to smite the hell out of everything.

Places I farm solo:
Ettins in Nebo Terrace outside of bettletun - good for runes. Griffons outside Augury Rock - good for gold weapons and money. See "Griffon Run" thread. Chest Farming outside of Divinity Coast - good for weapon upgrades. Frost Gate mission - just fun to whack some dwarves etc by myself. Riverside white mantle and giants - rune drops. Places I farm with others: Sand Giants outside Dunes of Despair - good for gold hammer drops..sometimes I farm solo but it is very difficult and not very efficient use of my time. Perdition Rock - just fun to do and cap elites Gates of Kryta mission - drake runs and good general mayhem. Fissure - I never get anything good here. |

These farming threads sicken me. There is a search feature. Search for "farm" or "farming" or anything like that related to farming and there are NUMEROUS posts you will find that have what you want.
As for farming, find what your character can kill easily and go kill it over and over. Pick up white drops and sell them to the merchants. There is no longer an uber farming spot with all the bests drops like riverside used to be. |

Not to be rude at all, but this link below might help you in the future mr. thread starter. Theres ALOT of threads like this one out there, im sure the devs are about to pull out some hair due to there being so many =P
http://albinoblacksheep.com/flash/posting.php Mostly just the search button part, just laugh at the rest :P Last edited by Haloknight9; Jul 21, 2005 at 07:23 PM // 19:23.. |

If I was going to farm somewhere, I think it'd be the Desiccated Waterway mission.
Yeah yeah, I know.. but I got the best batch of drops I have ever received in the game there last night, so call it superstition (plus I don't farm, as there is no point for me). Last edited by Bingley Joe; Jul 21, 2005 at 08:14 PM // 20:14.. Reason: Needed to be edited |

I just took Apply poison Distracting Shot Troll Unguent assorted pet skills (never really had a 'set' liked to try them out here) With points in expertise, wilderness survival, and beast mastery, minimal marksmanship for the low level bow I used for this, that's not where my damage was coming from. A little farming, and good xp. The general build also works out the Watchtower Coast side of Beetletun if you pack whirling defense and throw dirt. Manage to get by the first set of Tengu (not TOO hard, the the tengu wild first, and the rest are easy), and you can farm allot more skale and mergoyles there to the north along with some chests rather easily. |

I completely understand your frustration with the apparent lack of users ability to use the search feature, but don't you think that last comment is a bit inappropriate given the current events happening in the world. No need to be offensive to make your point. Just be a little more sensitive if you don't mind.... that last comment was in poor taste. *Steps off soapbox* |

!!Bees, bees, they're everywhere, uuugh god thier eating my flesh!!"
Officer #1 : "I'm allergic to bees, don't know about you bob!!" Officer Bob: "Yeah me too, let's get out of here" Richard (david spades character<after puking>): "I don't remember having THAT for lunch". One of the best movies I think I've ever seen and definitely one of the most quotable!!!!!!! |

In fact, we could say of the non-search poster, "He's a big dumb animal, isn't he folks?" And, after soundly beating him, he may point out that "it doesn't so much hurt here or here, but rigggghhhhtttt heeerrrreeee" Ah, classic cinema Americana. love it.
